This vehicle has been owned by the same owner for the last 51 years. He originally purchased it in Pasadena, CA in 1975 and has owned it ever since. It is finished in a rare factory color of Sepia Brown over tan. Cosmetically, the car is in good shape—please refer to the video to see for yourself. It has been a California vehicle its entire life, with no rust and no signs of accidents or metal work. The original floors look great. The engine has been upgraded to a 2.7L and is mated to its original 915 transaxle. Mechanically, it runs and drives well. A compression test was performed with excellent results—140–145 across all cylinders. It is equipped with SSI headers, and the Carrera chain tensioner upgrade has been completed. The motor sounds great and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts well through the gears. The brakes and clutch both feel good. With a bit of tuning and dialing in, it could be even better.
